currently: the first month of the new year

currentlyjanuary

eating…

LOTS! I have had a huge appetite and been eating out a lot and cooking at home a lot too. We made a roast in our new crockpot and that was delicious. We also got a George Foreman Grill and we have had a ton of meat on that-it is easy and comes out so good!

drinking…

more water, less soda! I have been using these Dasani Drops and it’s made it so easy to drink more. I hardly ever get an average intake of enough water. It’s never my first choice, so I’m glad I found an easier way to get more in me.

watching…

what am I not watching? This time of year when TV comes back with a vengence! Teen Mom OG, Once Upon a Time, Mom, Pretty Little Liars, Dr Ken, Making of a Murderer- on netflix (if you’ve seen it what’d you think? please discuss below! I’m baffled… I am in the support group on FB, no joke), FRIENDS anything pretty much- I love watching tv and seeing more movies lately and it’s so easy with Amazon Prime!

going…

to get massages soon and with sean to the chiropractors office after hus back has been in pain all week. I’m also looking into a facial because my skin is hazardly dry and flaky and I really hate it, so much right now. *douses face in moisturizer*

reading…

new blogs, comments, kindle books-I’m starting “You’re a badass” on Audible. I’m also still trying to read and get through Eleanor & Park-just not making time in my days/night to read it.

loving…

that the weather isnt quite so nasty now so I can open my wardrobe up and wear more of it since it’s just rainy now-not freezing or too frigidly snowy/icy.

working…

hard on my blog and not feeling so great about it yet because it’s only half designed and I’m not getting often enough posts up like I’d like to. I’m sorry family has been in town and it’s been a crazy few days.. I hope I can continue to meet my goals and strive to be only more and more consistent.

listening…

to audible and new music on spotify… I’m excited to dabble in more new music and books that I can listen to and get “read”.  do you have any suggestions? I’m open to hear them all

buying…

all the things we still needed from the move- like a dresser, a side table and plenty of other things but my favorite new purchase has been my Erin Condren horizontal planner by far.. I’m using it daily! (post on how I use my planner coming SOON, I’m not quite done with the post-but next week for sure)

planning…

my life out! My posts are getting planned well just not written on time. I’m planning my appts for dental/medical/mental etc since we now have insurance and I’m also logging my DVR’d shows to watch on the weekends when I’m not on social media and not so busy. I’ll be a revamped me soon…

wondering…

what going back to school will be like. I’m excited nervous scared and I need to be counseled so I know I’m going back for the right reasons (so I guess I should go talk to people sooner than later)  have any of you returned to school after time passed, a wedding, a baby, a move, etc? 5 or more years? What was it like?

feeling…

excited! Family (bro in law-sis to be and her son) is in town and I’m happy to know soon I’ll have another sister and a nephew on Sean’s side of the family- it’s like a whole new chapter getting to see his parents be grandparents to him. It’s been so great having some awesome dinners with them and time to spend together.

Well that’s my life currently so  what’s going on in your neck of the woods? are you acheiving those new years goals yet? did you return to school after taking time off? I’d love to hear about it and get any advice possible…

  1. I’m a Netflix junkie. Before we cancelled cable, I hardly ever watched TV. I’ve been through the entire series of ‘How I Met Your Mother’, ‘Grey’s Anatomy’, ‘Young and Hungry’, ‘Orange is the New Black’. Now we’re watching ‘Melissa & Joey’, ‘Once Upon a Time’, ‘Supernatural’ and we just adding ‘Making of a Murderer’ to the queue literally 5 minutes before I got to your post!

    1. Nice!! I loved watching that- it’s absolutely eye opening. I was so naive before Making a Murderer, it really has made me see the light. I have TONS of great Netflix documentary suggestions if you’re into that. Thanks for reading.
