30 Days of Truth: Day 30

Day 01 → Something you hate about yourself.

Day 10 → Someone you need to let go, or wish you didn’t know.
Day 11 → Something people seem to compliment you the most on.

I love myself. I do. Not to sounds conceded or anyhing but I’m actually trying to convince myself of this fact, so that makes sense.
Lists are easier I guess for this:
  • I am a lover not a fighter- or at least I think so.
  • I am a people person.
  • I am creative, loving and caring.
  • I try to be a great friend.
  • I try really hard at everything I do.
  • I seem to learn life lessons pretty quickly.
  • I treat everyone with dignity and respect.
  • I am brave and terrified.
  • I love to learn constantly
  • I like to try new things- I’m trying to be better at this, lately I have failed.
  • I am an independent dependent… I go either way.
  • I love that I am small and compact, I pride myself in it when others tease or down me. Fun sized!
  • When I’m in a fight, I try to find solutions, not just answers.
  • I try really hard esp lately to communicate more and compromise more as well.
  • I love deep and strong.
  • I believe in myself when no one else may.
  • I express my feelings to the best of my ability- another one I’m working on!
  • I love that I am the perfect combo of silly, serious and fun!
  • I love that I am my fathers daughter:) Love you daddy!
  • I can admit when I’m wrong; if I know I’m wrong…
  • I sing well and dance better! 
  • I’m spending more time with my hubby and getting closer again..
  • I’m learning new skills
  • I’m going back to school and graduating asap!

 Okay so this turned into a “what I’m doing” kind of list, but all theses things I love about me and feel proud about so there. Have a nice night ladies!

 I want to be more adventurous, creative, crafty and kind. Adventurous in a try things, go places, do more kind of way. Creative as in photography, crafts, blogging- creative outlets, painting, anything! Crafty- speaks for itself again painting, making things, blogging, photos, scrap-booking, crocheting, necklaces/jewelry etc, Kind- I interrupt, snap and am sometimes rude without thinking and can hurt peoples feelings, I’m trying to be more sensitive and understanding and also be bold enough to speak my mind and be honest when I need to be. That’s what I plan to work on…

I would A) keep the baby
B) Freak out with excitment
C) Tell everyone
D) look at finances, things should* be fine if I was right now or were to be any time soon, which I’m NOT.
I would start looking for a house, rental or otherwise, bigger apartment etc. something. I would go to a doctors exam and go right away to find out what I need to do and such. Take prenatal vitamins [which I have, as vitamins; don’t take em now] We would be so happy and joyful over any event concerning a baby, accident or not- it’s a life and I treasure every single one :]

My husband and I have been married for almost two years. We are lucky we have a roof over our heads, our bills are paid and we are both healthy. I have my family (whether I like them or not) and many friends around me who I care an awful lot about. My husband is my rock and my whole world and without him I don’t know what I’d do. I have school and I strive to do better everyday.

Sometimes everyone wants to give up. Sooner or later it’s a notion to give up on life, on a task, an event or a feeling we have. The best and smartest thing you can do however is to not ‘give in’ to giving up. I think “giving up” is sometimes inevitable. However cherishing your life and yourself on a daily basis is so important. To answer the question, I have been to the deep deep down of desperation to give up on life; in both senses, emotionally and physically too. I have acted on it once, but nothing luckily happened. I am now loving myself enough to never harm myself in that way ever again. I know I have people all around me who love me and I no longer have feelings of depression or anxiety around living versus giving up on myself and things. In the past I have felt bombarded and surrounded by controlling people who have their hands on my future. It was very stressful feeling helpless. It was hard to grow up in an environment like I did and then just having to become an adult all alone on my own and learn by myself. Like I said- I grew up and learned to love myself and find ways to never get that low again.
